Tiled floors are widely used in all rooms of the house because they are resistant and easy to maintain. On the market there is a wide choice of colors, finishes and sizes capable of satisfying even the most alternative tastes. Choosing the tiles for your home is very important because they give a touch of color and personality to the rooms. If you too are looking for new coverings for your home, but don't want to spend a fortune on construction work, here is the guide that offers tips on how to lay the Tile Fixing Work in Dubai.
Laying the tiles
1. The first thing to do is to choose the tiles, remember it is very important to buy 10-15% more, to compensate for any breakages and cuts during processing. (We also recommend that you keep a spare box for any repairs).
2. Then prepare the substrate: make sure that the surface you want to tile is perfectly flat and clean.

3. Before starting the laying of the tiles, take some reference points by drawing a perpendicular line from the entrance door to the opposite wall (in this way you will avoid having tiles cut in the center of the room).
4. Get some spacers (they are essential to obtain a well-leveled surface).

5. Lay the first row of tiles, without gluing them along the reference line.
6. Use the last tile as a reference and draw a second line perpendicular to the first.
7. Prepare the tile adhesive and spread it along the drawn line with the help of a trowel.
8. Once the glue has been spread, use a notched trowel to even out its thickness.
9. You are now ready to lay the first tile, exactly at the intersection of the reference lines drawn previously. This step is very important since the final result of all the work will depend on the first tile.
10. Once the first tile has been laid, place the cross spacers and proceed with the second tile.
11. Continue alternating tiles and spacers until all rows are complete.
12. Use a tile beater to make sure all are lined up.
13. For the corners and all those asymmetrical parts, use a tile cutter to obtain state-of-the-art cuts.

14. Once the glue has dried, prepare the cement grout, spread it and then pass it with a rubber trowel (we recommend passing it diagonally with respect to the joints).
